Aren't wandering spiders a bit vicious! I'm sure I read somewhere that they were going to use the venom of a type of wandering spider to develop a a medicine but they were very hard to keep and dangerous becuase they were so fast and short tempered.

The Brazilian Wandering spider is the most notorious of the group and is extremely quick and aggresive (apparently should not be kept as a pet!) But others like the Rusty wandering spider (Cupiennius getazi) are not considered a threat to humans, just cockroaches.
To see these spiders would be so cool.
ps the spitting spider (Scytodes thoracica) catches insects by squirting gummy silk from its jaws |

I am so annoyed with people going OMGWTF this is the scariest animal on the planet....
have you heard the myths of those guys.... they bill them up to be some kind of mutant super killer...
OMG 'they're called camel spiders because they live inside camels!'
'they can run 30 miles an hour... and they scream while they're running!'
Utter BS... now American troops are so scared of them they just kill them... yes they look horrible (I quite like them) and might be a tad agressive...
but if they bite you it might hurt but it's fine unless it gets infected.
....and anyway they aren't spiders XP
